Lord Have Mercy, Black Pastors Defend Sen. Jeff Sessions, Urge Senate to Confirm Him as Attorney General!!

Reader this a head scratcher for me, these men obviously aren't members of the NAACP who took over Jeff Sessions' office last week. I can't recall in my mind a group of white clergy doing a press conference to support any controversial black politicians. Has that ever happened in the history of America? I don't think so!  Yet, these men came together to support Donald Trump who was sued for discrimination against black people and lost.

Black pastors from Alabama and other states showed up to a Capitol Hill news conference Monday to support President-Elect Donald Trump’s Attorney General nominee Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.). The Frederick Douglass Foundation and Family Research Council’s Watchmen on the Wall coordinated efforts to urge the U.S. Senate to confirm Sen. Sessions in the Attorney General role as nominated. Rev. Dean Nelson, Director of African-American Outreach for Family Research Council’s Watchmen on the Wall said the charges of racism against Sessions are without merit and that Sessions has worked tirelessly in pursuit of justice:

  1. What is wrong with black Pastors in this country? Have you noticed here especially recently that they will sell their souls to the devil quicker than anybody you know. First it was Donald Trump now it's Jeff sessions. I hope they all burn in hell for this.

    1. These were the same type of pastors that told Martin Luther King, you can't come here and preach, you're a trouble maker. Who the hell is going to these coons churches?

  3. Unfortunately racists always have that one black friend or a dollar chasing preacher that never does anything for the good of their community in their corner. Smh

  4. Where is the evidence of Sessions being a "good person". There's overwhelming evidence that he isn't. And I'd like to know how much money Mr. Sessions "donated " these organizations ( churches) . Guess that building fund campaign is over now. Lol

    1. Anonymous,

I agree with you. And I must add that it could be more than just donations. There could also be lifetime perks that were offered that we might never get to know about.

For if one can stand and declare a known racist as not a racist, then Sen. Sessions must've offered more than we can ever imagine.

The preachers' eyes have surely been blinded (Exodus 23:8) and their hearts destroyed (Ecclesiastes 7:7). LORD have mercy!!!

The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall NOT want...

  5. Ann I'm a part of one of the organizations involved in this event (Douglass Leadership Institute and Frederick Douglass Foundation)

While I do not particularly endorse Sen. Sessions, many are not taking the opportunity to research why he and others going up for confirmation this week are deemed as racists other than their nomination by President Elect Trump. When I make appointments or nominations for my leadership team during my first year or two at a church, those persons aren't likely to be deemed in a negative manner because I nominate them unless I'm going against the status quo. It's from this perspective that I shared it. Hope that sheds some light

    1. Oh, IT shed a LOT of light!! I see CLEARLY that YOU'RE just ANOTHER one in denial, and will say and do ANYTHING 2keep YOUR lil hinney and position, safe!! TRAGIC!! Righteousness INDEED exhalts the nation. But SIN is a reproach to ANY people, and LYING to protect your OWN hide, while exposing hundreds of THOUSANDS to someone like Sessions, sho aint righteous!

    2. Lorenzo Neal, I will be honesty, I can't wrap my head around the pastors support for Jeff Session, I just can't. I lived all my life in Alabama, I know about and do believe the widespread rumors that Jeff Session was a bigot and a racist. This is not a secret among Alabamians.

  6. Bless you Lorenzo Neal for your explanation. The Word Of God tells me that "RIGHTEOUSNESS EXHAULTS A NATION" not a man/woman. Especially when some of these organizations are not submitted to the Spirit Of God. So, I refuse to give ANY Credence to what some of them think or say. I have determined, in my mind, that Jesus is the answer NOT some organization. In Christ Alone, RLR.

  7. The man is a RACIST. And he's been very proud of being one. The SOLD OUT MONEY COONS are DISCUSTING and DEPLORABLE. They don't represent the African American Community. They are ignorant and stupid. They shouldn't say they are pastors cause they truly aren't representing GOD in any kind of way. They needs to PRAY, FAST ,SEEK GOD'S FACE. Cause to be saying what they are saying and doing what they are doing. They are not filled with the HOLY SPIRIT. They have been talking with Casper the Friendly Ghost Uncle's to get advice. May God Have Mercy On There Souls. Where is there Self Respect. There Own Dignity. This why the Bible says to Study To Show Yourself. These Folks Are Just. Uncle Tom's and Token Niggas.

  8. Here's my take on the Democratic politicians hypocrisy. They are calling Sessions a racist without proof but failed to hold the Department of Justice accountable when they broke the law and their oath to uphold justice, by not bringing charges against Hillary Clinton.

  9. The Republican Party stated 2 days ago that they will still pursue criminal charges against. HRC. So with that being said. SESSIONS is still a RACIST. And he shouldn't hold the office of the most powerful law enforcement officer in the USA. It is on RECORD that he is a RACIST.
